We’ve posted a link to this item before, but since reader Benjamin H.’s write-up of it is so right-on, we figured it it was worth a new look.

“Hey There. I found this today and just thought what a wonderful dharma burger present! So part of my morning internet routine is to visit thehungersite.com and press the list of buttons to contribute to different causes (I’m not entirely convinced that I am actually contributing anything, but if it works, then good). So after you punch each button, they have an entire page of products that you can buy to further your contribution to the cause. That is where I found Buddha Cat.  And not that I am advocating tit for tat, but could you imagine the repercussions of creating “Jesus Cat”? Holy hairballs, batman!”

Thanks for sending it, Benjamin. Now if only I could have the image of Buddha Cat erased from my brain…
