It really isn’t. This link goes to a pdf what looks like a cool article about the origins of Buddha imagery. Kinda neat. It is, in fact, also a semi-promotional piece for an Indian Art business. I think it might be okay. Dunno. And I can’t yet vouch for the article but it looks pretty good at a glance. So check it out if you want to decide for yourself.
