Thanks to VSL (which can’t be recommended highly enough), we’ve learned of many, many cool and/or unusual things, some of which we’ve shared here. One of the latest is Stuff White People Like, which ranks stuff that white people are prone to liking.

#1 was coffee.

I’m white! And, I like coffee. Oh no! Am I a stereotype?

Well, let’s just see what #2 is.

The site “Buddha Trance” is a weird one. It’s loaded with psychedelic computer art and loosely meditative and yogic themes, which can seemingly be plastered onto anything animal, vegetable, or digital.

Some of their links are surprisingly cool. Some.

Can you believe this thing? I mean, my god:

It’s the work of a metalsmith/designer named Kate Clayton. Wrote to her a zillion years ago to see if she wanted to talk to the Horse. Never heard back. S’okay. We’re showing it anyway. Because it rules.

If it only it was affordable. But hey, it is some serious art.

Clayton also has a couple of other pieces on her site. The “All Powerful Ten Altar” is pretty stunning, too.
